Who we are
Virginia Family Vet (previously Zillmere Vet Surgery) is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical, preventative, and dental care. Our facility has been designed to make visiting the vet as stress-free as possible for both pets and people. We have a spacious reception area and lots of consult rooms so anxious pets can be quickly moved to a quiet area. There are cat exclusive consult rooms and hospital wards and a separate cat waiting area. We have two sterile surgery suites, advanced dentistry capabilities, in-house radiology and lab, and closely supervised hospitalisation runs and recovery areas.
Dr Karen, Dr Louise, Dr Leonie, Dr Liyunqian (Jolly) and our dedicated team strive to offer not only sound advice, but also exceptional veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she is unwell, but also to work with you to keep your best friend healthy and happy.
